A plain shawl of pure pashmina: featherlight, soft against the skin and warm far beyond its weight. Nothing printed or stitched on the face of it, so it goes over a kurta for Jummah as easily as over a coat on a cold evening.

• Pure pashmina, plain weave, a fine fringe at each end.
• About 2.5 x 1.25 yards (228 x 114 cm).
• Dry clean, or hand wash cold and dry flat.
